Having learned the piano since childhood and practicing on his drum machine for almost fifteen years, Vadim Svoboda came up with his own style, hard to label.

This Ep, dedicated to a fly, is a perfect example of it. Produced by his long time friend Romain Azzaro in Gustav-Muller studios in Berlin, the Extended play is composed of three intimate songs, played on muted pianos and rearranged, oscillating between classical music, jazz, and electronic mantras. Its sound brings you into the very core of Vadim Svoboda’s fantasy.

“One evening, a fly living its last moment landed on my hand while I was playing the piano. As I was going through the octave, I noticed it was flapping its wings to give me the main three notes of the “last flutter” theme. I only had to come up with the notes for the left hand. It then stayed hours with me, listening to the song we had created together, before disappearing”
